Amanzimtoti is fast becoming a destination of choice. Boasting pristine beaches, friendly locals and the Galleria Shopping Centre. eThekwini Municipality are busy upgrading Warner Beach and have a five year plan in place. This includes beaches, built up areas and commercial strips, from Doonside Beach, Warner Beach, Winklespruit and the Illovo Estuary. The improvements encompass landscaping, improved signage, new paving, lighting and dune rehabilitation.



Business has expanded greatly with the development of Southgate Industrial Park.



Durban’s International Airport has been moved 50 km’s away to La Mercy and is now King Shaka International Airport. First thought this would be a negative for the area but this has proved not to be the case. Many locals welcome the peace and quite and do not miss the noise and pollution that comes with flights overhead.
